Happy Thanksgiving to all! We are enjoying our holiday in the Seattle area with family. I should have so cute pics up soon! We are so thankful for all our loved ones and we pray for God's many blessings over the remaining holiday season.

Extras...

I didn't realize I had these pictures of the kids painting their pumpkins at school. I know it's a little late, but I thought I would post them anyway. I love that they love being so creative. Alison is sporting her classic "popeye" smile, too!

The Latest...

So we have been keeping busy, busy, busy these last few weeks. We are in the middle of a remodel in our garage...making it into a family room. It seems like we are outgrowing our space so fast! It will be great when it is all done.

The kids have been missing Daddy with his crazy schedule, so they are really enjoying any "daddy-time" they can get!

I had a check-up last night and things are still going well. I am working on being more obedient and taking things easy....not so easy for me! The kids enjoyed an evening with their fav teenager, Katie...

Other than the day-to-day, we are just enjoying our wonderful family.

Harvest Celebrations...

We've had a very busy week! The kids had two harvest parties at school, plus we attended the Annual Harvest Carnival at our church. They were very excited to dress-up for two days (we have two classes at school, thurs & fri)...Jeremiah would be Spiderman both days and Alison would be a lady bug one day and a princess the next. They played games, ran around and were allowed some "special" treats that mom wouldn't normally allow them to have....and boy did mom pay for that one later!

The "don't-take-my-picture Princess"

Finally, the big finale....the Harvest Carnival. Jeremiah had this great idea a few weeks ago to dress-up as Pastor Phil. I said, "You wanna be Pastor Phil?" "Yea, Mom, I'll be Pastor Phil and it it will be so funny! He will just crack-up!", he says. I agreed it would be hilarious and I asked Alison if she wanted to dress as Maria, Phil's wife and be a very pretty lady..."Yes Mommy, Maria is pretty lady.", she says. So it was set...I got out Jeremiah's tux and let out the hem-he'd grown a bit since the last time he wore it. He insisted that he wear his pink tie, because Phil was a cool guy like that and we purchased some wire-rimmed glasses at the dollar store and removed the lenses. For Alison, I had a really pretty sweater with a furry collar and I made her a simple black skirt. She too, had some glasses and I added a string of pearls and of course, some "pretties", aka make-up! Once they were all ready, they were stomping around the livingroom impersonating our beloved pastors..."Maria, go teach the girls!" "Phil you go preach!" Bible in hand and fingers shaking...it was hilarious. Once we got to the carnival, they immediately became very shy, which is just their nature, but they were adorable anyway! I had put their names on each of their outfits so there would be no question as to who they were, but Jeremiah couldn't help but pull his off before we even got to the church....a whole two blocks...oh well!

"PHIL & MARIA"

THE "REAL" PHIL & MARIA
(PHIL DOESN'T HAVE THE GOTEE CURRENTLY)

I think they actually look a little like the real thing...what do you think?

"PHIL", ENJOYING A POST-PARTY SNACK (Don't tell Maria!)

"PHIL DID WHAT?!" Maria, shocked at Phil's latest dance moves...

"Phil & Maria", with the real Maria

After all our partying, we returned home for a little photo shoot before bed. Jeremiah decided to stand on a stool and started preaching again....this time about fire and fire safety...his finger shaking! They both love their Pastor Phil and Maria.....and we are so glad that they have chosen such amazing people to emulate. We are blessed. So I wonder, does this mean that maybe Pastor Phil is Spiderman by night and Maria is truly a princess on the weekdays? Hhhmmmnnnn.......

PREACHING AS IF HE'S DONE IT ALL HIS LIFE!

"WHAT DO YOU THINK, PHIL...TIME FOR BED YET?"

Let's not forget Miss Hosanna, she was darling in her little pumpkin costume, although she was more than ready for bed before we even left the house that night!

BABY PUMPKIN

And finally, I dressed as "Miss Conception".....my most relatable role! John was an awesome Daddy, he took lots of pics for me and helped out a lot despite his sleep-deprived state!
