Trimming the tree....

...oh you bet we did!
I started a day later than last year, but we got the tree up and decorated on Saturday! I officially started my season of watching White Christmas on Thursday, though.....I watched it a few times over the summer to try and trick my prego body into thinking "cool". So far, we've only lost two ornaments to the wrath of Alison. I think she actually likes the 'pop' and shattering sound they make when they hit the floor. Her eyes get really big and she says "oooohhhhh"!

Today they where extra cute when I caught Jeremiah and Alison singing while they worked...helping me fold laundry, or not.

On a different note, in just two weeks, Miss Alison will be turning two. Close your mouth..I know it's shocking, but oh so true. The time has officially flown by! Sunday the nineth is her day and we will also be dedicating Miss Hosanna. Below is a copy of the invite for those of you close enough to attend. A dedicationceremony is so important to John and I. It keeps us accountable in our parenting and says..."Hey, we want to raise our kids to serve the Most High God!" We need all the prayer and encouragement we can get in this battle to raise godly kids in such and ungodly world. Thankfully, we have awesome family and friends who we know love our kids as much as they love us!

Please join us!

turkey, turkey, turkey....

...We had a great turkey day! It was nice to see family and spend time with them. the kids were SO tired by the time we left mom and dad's that they fell asleep as soon as we hit the road! John had to work, but his working allowed another family time with their daddy...
We miss our Aaron, so here is some pics with a message just for him...

"You ruined my life..."

Today, I nicely asked Jeremiah to head up to his room for naptime. He didn’t like that idea so much and decided to throw a toy car at me….which was already kinda broke. Throwing it made it fall apart and I promptly had him pick up the pieces and marched him to the trash can to throw it away…meanwhile he was crying and throwing a fit(shocking, I know). When I finally got him upstairs, we prayed for naptime and with a frown and tears in his eyes, he said “But Mom, you just ruined my life!” I tried not to laugh and as I was leaving told him not to worry, I didn’t ruin his life…..yet.

silly tigers....

It's been a crazy busy week and it's only Monday! the kids had fun at our Fall Carnival at church. They were both tigers (Hosanna went as a newborn, fitting, I know!). They came home with candy and fun toys. Afterwards we went out to the ol' homestead in Adams to see all the old folk...(hahaha...I love you mom and dad!) They were quite entertaining, if you like that kinda thing, you know, children screaming and running around on a sugar and carb high. :) They both slept quite well that nite! Tomorrow Ms. Hosanna has a check-up and we'll get to see how chunky she really is. Later this week I get to head off to Wallawa and leave the older children with daddy while I enjoy a weekend of scrapbooking-yay! Other than the usual daily entertainment of three children, we've just been enjoying life and FALL!
