An almost tragedy...

Well, the other day I took Jeremiah and Alison to have their yearly check-ups. When I pulled out the camera to take pictures of them being weighed and measured...it wouldn't work. I took a picture with it and this is what happened.

So I sent up a "please God, don't let it really be broken" prayer and put away the camera. I came home and talked to John about it and we both decided there was really nothing we could do about it. We can't afford a new one right now and we have been preparing ourselves for this for a while...it had been acting up already.

The next morning I grabbed the camera, out of habit to take a picture of Jeremiah and Alison....and it totally worked! Just goes to show that God does care and can do miracles....who else can understand those silly electronics?!

In other news, Judah is doing great. He is going through a bit of a growth spurt so he is sleeping less than he was at night. But, for the most part, he is a typical newborn.

Hosanna is battling pneumonia right now. We just found out yesterday and she is already doing SO much better than she was. She had a fever for over four days, topping out at 105 degrees with a laundry list of other symptoms. After tests and xrays, there it was... a couple of doses of antibiotics later and she's running around with her brother and sister again.

Jeremiah and Alison are doing great. They had their yearly check-ups this week and Jeremiah is 45 lbs and 44 1/2 inches. He had to have 4 shots, which he was NOT happy about at all! Alison is 36 lbs and 39 inches. She only had to have one shot and she didn't even cry...she just "Ow, that hurt."

I am doing good as well. Just getting back into the swing of things. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted...hahahaha...but, really, having the baby made a number of my symptoms, aches and pains go away. I have so much more energy now, even though I don't always get as much sleep as I need...I survive!

John is doing good. He is back to work and I think he is a little bit grateful...our house can be overwhelming at times!

We were blessed enough to have Josh and Meghan and the kids visit last weekend. It was great to see them and have them see their newest nephew. The kids loved having their cousins around to play with as well!

I was looking thru some old pics and found this one of Jeremiah...it's going to be interesting to see how much Judah will look like his older brother. (Jeremiah as a baby, is the top one)

Isn't it great how Jesus cares about the little things that matter to us! I think He delights in us in so many ways. Yeah for your camera miracle!!! You are doing so good, I am impressed, I don't know how you do it with 4 kids, my almost 1 yr old and husband keep me on my toes :)
